Went through the "process" and just played a few holes.
Damn! I'd forgotten how much I loved that game. It's super fun - straight out of the box. It's amazing how "connected" you feel with that Mouse Swing in that game.
Imagine where that game would be if they'd kept going with the PC versions..

Andrew dropped a hint with his vote for PG2 coming before the other golf game. So did Z-Max. Hello! is anyone listening. Nuff said! I fell happy! So happy I just ordered a new PC from Digital Storm for playing Golf, Sim Trucking and i-racing. Just keeping on with the good life. Retirement is and has been great.

That PG2 / TM VG2 will never be playable on your new PC. That's the sad part of it.

You'll note that Andrew voted for "PG2 for Trackman users" (not for PC users)
Also - the poll is multiple choice and he could have voted for both "PG2 for TM" as well as "PG2 for PC" if both were to going to be available (he did not).
To echo Dropzone above, the release that's coming soon is for Trackman hardware users only.

Or I will but does anyone have any suggestions for the poll items…
Maybe things that weren’t included in this one but should have been?

Sorry about that, I apologize Buck and the forum too. Read Andrews post wrong. Not worried if PG is going kaput. I still have Sim Trucking and I-racing and that other golf game (which I hate) . I moved on from Links 2003 and Tiger Woods 2008 and can do so again. I'll just pull my big boys pants up a notch and carry on!

Agreed about "carrying on", but I'd be lying if I said I'm not bummed about the PG outlook.
I remember seeing the first videos of PG, pre-release, and thinking to myself "holy f*** - that's the end game of golf games right there!!"
Hopefully PG1 carries on for quite a while if that's the end for PC users.

I would bet my truck that we never see PG2 and really don't believe will ever see a Sim type golf game again.
I think we'll see PG2..
...screenshots and videos of it being played by a Trackman owner, that is..

There are people dropping into coursedownloads.com and lspn.net to kick start their old experiences with either TW08 or Links 2003.
I am glad I have both installed on Windows 10. And yes, Perfect Golf is my favorite but if it disappears I am ensconced in both communities. Neither community is going away for years to come.
ONE reason is that both games are far less demanding on the hardware. The other reason, the communities are old farts like us who like virtual golf over all war and zombie games.
If PG2 arrives for PC, then we can all stop speculating and start complaining (again) about the lack of features in PG2 and it's glitches. LOL

No point. Less chance of that than all the other options on the poll

if we were to see pg2,and things were to carry on as is,there would have been no need for update imo. we are about to be left behind.

Wish they would fix the Hacker Harry and boomerang backspin glitches before they dump us. Oh, and the 0 ft. 0 in. bug too.

Who is Patrick Hansson and how was he able to try out VG2? My guess is that Trackman will showcase VG2 at CES 2020 in Vegas although I don't see them in the list of exhibitors yet. Regardless it's still wait and see for us PC JNPG players.

I think they will show it at the PGA Show in Florida in Jan. 2020.
