I finally had a chance with two other simulator players to play a full 18 hole 3-man scramble that Stingreye and I created, using a workaround on the method of play designer.

To my knowledge, previously 3-man scrambles have only been possible in events set up PGLS and OGT using the via the Tournament API.

Worked flawlessly, and 3-man IMO is the best form of scramble as 4 player can take too long. We had a blast.

So we share it.

Pop it in your

c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Config\

directory, and in PG, select StrokeFlexScramble from the Game Type menu (with Game filter set to Stroke).

This also allows you to play different combinations as well: e.g. 4v3, 2v3.

1 person teams unfortunately don't work as the Shot Selector gets confused.

As usual, when you add the players to the match, just set the team colors the same for each member of the same team.

We'll likely do match play as well and post if it works well.

I was wondering about a threesome gameplay (1 vs 2) in JNPG.  Looks that that is not possible? At least I have not found it. I'm talking about one player playing against another team of two players who play alternatively with the same ball (like in a foursome). When having three players it would be nice to be able to have an alternative to straight strokeplay (which takes longer) and play threesome matchplay. Would it be possible for you to make a threesome gameplay too?... -_-

Have you tried setting up an alternate shot game in JNPG, but adding the single player to two spots with the same team color? I can't see why that wouldn't work. In other words, the single player is alternating with himself.

Well!.. :D What a thought! And it works ... perfect! :P Thanks a lot for this golden tip. Now why didn't I think of that? This a great trick to add 3-somes to JNPG!!! I wonder if anyone knows this one! I'll post it on the forum anyway. Thanks again!!
