Hoping someone can help me. I just received this error message when I tried to open my project. Found this resource -https://answers.unit...dow-layout.html

I imported in a unity grass pack the other day. Maybe it is tied to this.

I closed it then re-opened the last saved scene in the project. It now has a pink background and their is no overlay.

Pink refers to a missing texture. Did you delete your overlay from the paint pallet?

If so add it back.

Thanks for explaining what pink means. I didn't physically delete anything - I just tried to open my project.

Where would I look to add my overlay texture back?

To me it looks like your overhead map is there. The area that is pink looks like it would be the MJOcean water? Click on the pink and see if the MJOcean water highlights in the hierarchy.

Thanks Justin. Yes, the pink is my MJOcean water. If I click on it, it does not highlight in the hierarchy. But it's there and I am able to click on it in the hierarchy.

It seems as though I am able to access CF and use it without issue.

You are missing the shared material water4advance. It's located in standard assets, environment, water, water4, materials. Just drag and drop it into that spot or click on the dot to the far right and navigate to it and it should fix your problem

Thanks Jason.

Something is still not correct. When I use the dot to the far right and navigate to it, I don't see it in the asset folder-

When I search for the asset, it indicates that it was modified last night -

In the Project folder it dos not display the same way as Water4Simple. It is a white document and when I try to drag it over the Shared Material field it won't accept it. I can drap and drop the Water4 Simple material.

At this point, I might suggest deleting the pink files, materials or textures in your project. Then, reimport the CFTutorial package. It'll recognize that these files are missing or modified and reimport them.

Now, if you've edited some files it wants to import and you don't want it to reimport those, just uncheck those boxes in the import dialog screen.

Here's the Unity packet for that water in case you no longer have it or can't find it. Like Matt said just re-import it and it will replace the material.

DP and Justin - thanks for your help with this today.

DP - I followed your advise and re-imported the CFTutorial package and all is well again. Unfortunately, I lost a lot of the elevation work I did.

Justin - thanks for the assistance today.  Wished I waited a bit longer for your dropbox link! Oh well. That's how the cookie crumbles sometimes.
