New to this forum so unsure if posting in the right spot, sorry.  Also, couldn't find search function to see if it has been discussed.

The game does not save my swing type, and I have to reset it every time I launch the game.  Is there a way to alleviate this issue?  My rounds at PGLS get disqualified as the default type is RTS-C which is not allowed.  Thanks in advance.

It should stick as long as you set it under your default player.

It does not --  My best guess is that my swing type is not really common so people never run into this problem.  I use a controller and "swing meter pointer" ...  The only way to get that swing type up is to have the controller plugged in, and scroll left through the swing options.  scrolling right won't even bring it up as an option.  I have to select the fact that I am using a controller every time I am launching the game.  I think it might be resetting at that time, but I don't really know, that's why I'm here :)

Edit: I see that you can get Swing Meter Pointer up by scrolling right, if you are using Mouse and Keyboard.  That is not the case with a controller, and yeah, my probably bad guess is that the fact that the menu while using Controller is goofed up is causing the game not to save it.

the controller functions have never worked correctly, you are pretty much on your own with em.

Dave not trying to be picky here but I use a controller at PGLS Real-time and never had a problem and for that matter I have used it a few times to play 3C as it's not easy sitting in a recliner and being reclined back and using a mouse to click. Just my 2 cents.

hell i have never been able to use one long, my menu button always went away

so there where never a way to even get out of a round, junk and i tried all the brands and still had the issue

plenty of others with this issue also. if the controller worked so well here why do you figure such a low % of people are using them.

i would love to play my 3c with a controller, but not worth the hassle. then add the crap that happens when you are using the lobby chat, how crazy that was to figure out, not to mentions since im into tourneys at PGLS they are banned due to easy manipulation.

Most people I know use a legit controller like myself and don't have a problem and we don't manipulate them as check my scores at the Relatime swing tour and I struggle to make par and most of the time don't. The reason why we don't see many people using them is it's a PC crowd not console and most PC people prefer mouse. The downside is you look at the size of the fields and the PC side is not loaded with many people like the console side or for that matter the simulator side that has way more people swinging a real club. If JNPG 2 happens it will be on console and will bet my house on that as that is where the heavy play is at. Playing that other golf game we won't mention you will find hundreds of players in the fields each week on PS4 and Xbox One but nowhere near as many playing on the PC side. If JNPG 2 happens I will get it on the console side as that is where the big fields are. Not being negative as I love JNPG but the amount of players playing at this time is really low and you can't argue that. One last note is if your working all day in front of your PC at work and come home the last thing you want to do is sit back in front of one and use a mouse but would much rather sit in a recliner and play on big screen with controller. That is why the PC crowd is mostly older like like most of us but even I and others are moving away from the mouse. Gaming is changing and not in the favor of the PC crowd.

It can be argued i.e the player count just look at the pg steam charts its pretty steady if not increasing
