Been working on this and have it all laid out so now just juggling the 3D grass to get a good balance between FPS and looks....

Course is stunning in real life, this should come out lovely..nice choice!

11th.... Still not sold on the look of the Deep Rough with 3d grass for this type of course and the framerate hit is quite big

Rob I think a repeat of the lovely planting job you did with pine valley would suffice here,  ( looks a bit similar ) I personally would not favour 3D deep rough over frames.

Yeah Doggs....I may well revert back yet...I’ll get the 3D grass in all,over and see where I am at cause without the shadows on the grass I’m not getting the look I was after anyway and yes I prefer FPS to be up anyway

3D Grass has it's merits, I just  do not favor it for this design.

Shame I wasted weeks with the £d grass deep rough

Hehe...Its actually not that bad...I have deffo done a lot tougher...it was all the aggro with getting the 3D grass into the project then getting it to look right,if I had gone with this look 1st off it would be close to finished now I recon

There is a Arcadia Bluffs 3dg that has made it into the betas at PGLS

by a badeddiekit is that the same course you have posted here Rob?

i downloaded it and it looks nothing like the pics you have posted here so im kinda

confused as the beta seems to have a much different look then these pics. to me the beta looks a little washed out around the greens

maybe a lighting issue? 

with a lot of blue tinted looking places in it, almost makes me think i may be having computer issues but lately 

i have noticed this blue in a lot of the new courses.
