For info: Hazeltine National GC has the creeks in question (well at least 1 anyway).

On hole 9, around 130 yards in front of the Championship tees on the left is a small pond (just left of the Ladies tee) and this has the F7 option. As previously mentioned this only works if your F6 mode is in one of the 2 new reflective modes. It only toggles between reflective and normal (doesnt include the reflective sky option) so only replicates what can be achieved from the F6 key, so I presume it is really only useful if you are designing a course?

Could we please (pretty please?) get a reflective water patch back?

Look guys and gals,  the largest simulation group ever to exist for a golf game (JNPG) @ OGT has had their hearts ripped out by TrackMan.  As about a month ago, The PG simulator launch monitor subscription service is being discontinued as of August 2020.  And you folks want a reflective water patch for lower powered CPU.  Good luck with that!

@dennisharris

If I'm not mistaken (which I frequently am), the patch was not just "for lower powered GPU's", but rather had features that helped performance for them, in addition to the other benefits.

I simply want the reflective water options again.

I'm not sure who "tamuchan" really is/was.

I'm assuming it was Andrew or another dev under an alternate screen name, as the tamuchan user account seems to have existed and participated in no way other than releasing these patches.

Fine by me - just wish we could have it back!

Has anyone tested the old patch files for this JNPG version?

Me too.

I wonder if tamuchan was able to bring the reflective water to VG2 for Trackman users?
