Bayonne GC beta 2

https://www.dropbox...._beta2.zip?dl=0

Things to do yet,

I have a few buildings to build yet for the Peninsula acrossed from the course.

I changed the hazards from the first build to try and eliminate the 1200 yard drop you could get by hitting next. So now the whole course is marked as a water hazard. I know the actual course isn't marked like that. But this is the only way that with the help of Corey, we could figure out to eliminate the 1200 yard drop. With that said, have at it and let me know what you guys find. You can leave your comments, either here or over at OGT.

Thanks, Justin

The attention to detail on this course is amazing,

you'll spend an hour using the F5 before you play it.

Great course Justin!  Thanks for sharing this gem with the community.

About my only recommendation would be to limit the number helicopter touchdowns/takeoffs to one per half-hour (or hour) if possible.  Right now it seems like it's every 5 minutes  The helicopter sound effects can be distracting if you have the sounds cranked up.

Just got through playing this one for the 1st time, and excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor.  Amazing in every sense Justin.  Also surprisingly tough for being as short as it is.

Wonderful work Justin. A great looking course, and the real-life design has done a great job on re-claimed land to manufacture a course which has that feel of Irish links play without feeling contrived, and mixes in a real variety of different challenges to the player to keep their round on track.

Frames fell away a little in some places on what is now a graphics card which is getting longer in the tooth (GForce GTX 770), but loses no playability, at least with a movement swing at any rate.

More to come on the assets within the course you say? What is there already is superb, and can't wait to see the quality you bring to what you have remaining, with the help of some master builders amongst the community.

Great job, as always sir.

Hello Mr J

Take a Bow you legend, top shelf product, extremely well detailed and thoroughly been over by your eys to make this a good as can be.

High attention to detail, this is how i usually work as well, you have covered everyhting and double checked, you probably went over this course tons of times like i did, over and over and over, scouring this thing .

I found a few things for you to do, so get your shovel and groundsmen tools out and see what you can do

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KHJMuGZSD6LoCOm0-XydXyqc95EFa9mq

Maybe  check the ferry sound, i think the chopper is a bit loud, but its ok, i dont mind, it`s different and bearable

adds some life and fun to your round .Course reminds me of my Tobacco road with the high mounds and design style.

All those Buildings, walls, trucks/transport additions, 3d flag, well just great stuff, outstanding features

5 Stars Mr J- you did an admirable job, highly skilled   and the outcome is excellent

My shout for a Coffee and crispy cream Doughnut

My only suggestion would be to reduce the volume of the seagulls.  They are too loud relative to the volume of the ferry and helicopter which are realistically loud.   :)

Thanks for the comment, guys. Glad to see everyone's enjoying the course. I will try tweaking the sounds, some more. But that seems to be a tough one. I guess it all depends on what settings people are using for Background sounds. I know my in game for the clubs I have set at 100%, but the background sounds most of the time at .25. There's just way too many variables to consider. As far as the helicopter. I believe I am going to change it, so it only comes in maybe every 7 or 10 minutes.

Thanks for checking out the course Pingzing. A few of the items you posted already taking care of. As far as the bunkers I've already messed around with those a few times with no luck. They are dug out deeper, it's just that the mesh won't lay down in them. Maybe I'll have to tweak the shape of the bunker from the original? Also, the walking path on 9 in real life goes through that bunker. The ferry horn I've used a couple different ones and for some reason it gets distorted when the ball is in the air. Not much I can do with that as far as I know. Try not to shoot when the ferry is blowing the horn :D. Hopefully within the next week I should have the final. I'm busy working away in blender :)

Here's a photo of the walking path going through the bunker on hold 9

Thanks, Justin

Well, I think I have everything that was mentioned fixed now. Finished up with the buildings over on the peninsula. So here's Beta 3 if a couple of you guys could give it a quick run through just to check, I believe it's ready to be released. Hopefully all I need to do is just change the scene name to read just Bayonne GC and a new splash screen, fingers crossed.

Let me know what everyone thinks about the sounds. I did go ahead and tweak the seagulls and the helicopter and Ferry. I also managed to fix the horn on the ferry boat so now if the balls in the air the horns not distorted.
