I've hit a wall (or lip) early in my quest to start using pot bunkers.  I didn't use the library that Mike provided, I just cloned the bunker layer and copied the settings from his tutorial.  I tried drawing a spline on unsmoothed and smoothed terrain; the pic is on smooth terrain.

Ignoring the tearing for a moment, where's the depth?  Here are my settings -

Your mesh has probably not calculated correctly. Your shape has sharp edges and is not a smooth oval, try drawing a smoother shape or use less control points on your bunker spline.

Yep not smooth enough, this also happens when the bunker drawn is too small.

Do what Mike and DoGgs suggest but I believe you also need 1 more step.

In your Bunker (Clone) layer, you should go to the section on the right that says "Pot" and click the "F". It will force that section of the bunker to build the depth and be flat.

Some good advice from K11 in this thread as well - http://www.perfectpa...the-pot-report/.

...and click the "F".

Did the trick.  NSW Golf Club up and running.
