well back in Iowa this year looks like i will relearn how to endure a real

winter again. temps are dropping 45 high today down to 32 tonight.

my pain from the change of weather has been pretty bad this year.

burnt a heck of a lot of painkiller, lol

be 60 in a month, don't know how i made it this long, but the aging process just flat out sucks.

already got the long johns out im ready.

oh well it is what it is.

After 14" of snow in Calgary last Tuesday, I drove three hours north and spent this past (Thanksgiving) weekend near Edmonton.  On the holiday Monday, we awoke to 8" of snow.  Back in Calgary it snowed another couple of inches over Monday and Tuesday, but it's supposed to get above freezing tomorrow and hopefully the sun will shine a bit to warm things up here.  It's been a cool September and October thus far in Alberta with high temperatures barely eclipsing 5°C (that's about 40°F).  Our normal temperatures are about 15°C (60°F), so I'd like to get a week or two of that before the snow stays for 6-7 months ....

Snowed in Denver today. Feels like it's gone straight from summer to winter this year without anything in between. 80 to 40.

I'm not quite ready... I'm still hoping for one more round of golf before I hang them up. Next week looks more promising.
