My PC was not updating so it's been to the menders and to get it up to date they had to do a back up and then format the C drive and re install the latest windows 10.  Now i've got it back the autoexec.cfg hasn't changed from what i had it before. but i cannot get the colours to what i had.  It's all gone back to original yellow and green with white wind and comet. Any one got any ideas i've made a new player still no change. hoping up can come up with an answer.

you are missing the =  between tracercolor/ windcolor and the color numbers.

looks like you are also missing the underscore between tracer and color.

here's what mine looks like

--cam_sensY=3
--cam_forwardSpeed=9.5
--cam_sideSpeed=2

Probably not the problem but do you have those values for colorup etc in a auto exec config file within the perfect golf config folder on steam?

Yes I do. It's this new windows i think is the problem. The old one i had on didn't work properly but the colour of the meter was good. This new one also can't open some photos.

All the things I've read about windows 10, it has messed a lot of computers up.

Double check that the autoexec file is in the Perfect Golf / Config folder.  Also make sure that the autoexec file you created is a CFG file under "type".  I really doubt that Win 10 has anything to do with it.

--cam_upSpeed=.1
--game_upColor=0,76,153

I just copied this from PGLS...It worked great for me..I hope it helps you.....://www.rapidtables.com/web/color/RGB_Color.html will give you a comprehensive way of looking at a particular RGB code to use for colours.

RickW has shown us a much more simple method for making changes to your set-up, without the need to create and edit autoexec.cfg

Open your Steam Library via the icon in the notification tray (the area where time and date display in the corner of your Windows desktop)
Right click on Jack Nicklaus Perfect Golf in the list of games in your Library and choose Properties
Click the SET LAUNCH OPTIONS... button
Paste in the parameter you wish it to run with from start-up of game. If using more than one parameter, put a space between each one.
The following are useful commands, changing the numbers changes the effect:

CAMERA SETTINGS
--cam_sensX=.5
--cam_sensY=0.2
--cam_forwardSpeed=2
--cam_sideSpeed=1
--cam_upSpeed=.1

IN-GAME COLOUR SETTINGS (Example; Pick your own colours from the reference webpage shown above)
--game_upColor=139,0,0,199
--game_downColor=65,105,255
--game_tracer_color=255,0,0
--game_windColor=0,191,255

TO CREATE A CUSTOMIZABLE COMET TRAIL (set your tracer to full for it to take effect whilst also adding this)
--cam_tracerFadeTime=0.5

If you set these up in the SET LAUNCH OPTIONS... then you can then remove your autoexec.cfg file from the Config folder, as it is duplicated and unnecessa

I could be wrong, but I think you need to be using the regular "meter" as the swing type, not the "pointer meter" swing type, else the colours don't change.  (or is it the other way around? or doesn't it matter anymore?)

Just came from the game.

Swing Meter = Colors work

Swing Meter Pointer = Colors do NOT work

Ken now that you have that squared away, i was wondering if your upgrade to win 10 has it

helped out with your meter issues?
