Hi guys, just wondering if it's possible to get a thick bunker lip like this -
- with the default bunker layer's settings adjusted, or do I need to use the pot bunker layer?

I've tried both, with mixed results.
I made the Royal Melbourne lips a bit wider by simply increasing them in the library settings, but you have to be careful because sometimes it lowers the spline too much and you get weird jagged things that show through. To compensate for this you might have to change the spline height from 0.15 to something a little higher, like 0.2, but then your spline edges look more steep. It takes some trial and error.
I've never been happy using the pot bunker settings just because it makes the bottom of everything flat, which I don't think works that well for sandbelt bunkers. I assume this is Metro?
But as always, YMMV.

You can easily change the most outer rough level +0.1 m or even 0.2 m and then you can make 0.1 or 0.2 deeper bunker spline in layers library. The most outer spline will then be 0.25 or 0.35 thick and all the inner splines will follow that. This way you'll have more marginal with your bunker depth. Mike's advice is not to change fairway or green heights. They can lead to troubles for example when putting the ball into cup.
Of course the edge of the most outer rough is also deeper this way, but it's up to you how far you'll take the edge.

It's so simple .
Gotta get back to finishing my course (I don't want to think how long I've been working on it...off and on...mostly off lately). It's 99% done...now I'll have to get in there and reremember Unity to finish the last 1%).
I really am in awe of how some of you guys manage to be so prolific. Kudos!

I assume this is Metro?
After having my fingernails pulled out trying to produce a height map, it's Ellerston.
Seems like using the library will do a good enough job.
