[Pappy]

I was playing around trying to put color on wind meter (sometimes invisible in bright sky). I took it out as thought maybe it was causing an old problem I've been having of losing some function keys (some may remember that one - still occurs occasionally). Anyway tried to add color to it and ended up losing color in tracer (reverted to extra very bright white).

So researched again and I think this is correct.

I have config.cfg in correct folder I believe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Config

And the autoexec.cfg has this in it

--game_tracer_color=255,255,0 // comet-red

--game_windColor=128,0,128 // wind meter - purple

 

I rebooted (total) to make sure everything was clean and no colors. Anyone see a mistake and procedure I didn't do?

Mine contains the following for wind meter and tracer

 

--game_tracer_color 255,0,0,100

--game_windColor 255,255,0

 

 

Tracer is red and wind meter is yellow. I believe the 100 at the end of the tracer colour entry is the opacity level.

Daz, I notice the biggest difference is you don't have the Equal sign - otherwise the same (except for the numbers of course). So will take off the = and see what happens.

Made the changes (took out equal sign) and still didn't work. I then decided to just  do a copy/paste from yours to mine and it's working beautiful. I even like the wind meter color better than purple. Is there a user charge Daz? Thanks.

Dave that may be it - when I Googled autoexec.cfg quite a while ago it mentioned that // was like a Rem in autoexec.bat file - maybe didn't use it correctly! Anyway working like a charm.

Mine didn't have / and text hence me posting how mine appeared in my. cfg file

Sorry I didn't actually mention the / were potentially an issue.
