Hey everyone, I'm kind of a lurking newbie here. I've been building a course slowly this year, learning bit by bit. Thank you to many of you who have kindly provided lidar, answered questions and offered advice when I got stuck.

Tranquilo Golf Club is my favorite course from when I lived in Orlando. Used to be a Disney course, then Four Seasons bought it and Fazio did a redesign. It's unique for Florida because it's in a wilderness sactunary on Disney property, so there is no course-side development except for 7 tee and 18 green. There's wildlife all over the place (deer, alligators, foxes, rabbits, armadillos, etc.). For fun I added some wildlife throughout the course. Maybe a little corny, but I like it.

The only thing that's not worked out are the water hazards. If you dunk the ball in the water, it drops you on the other side of the terrain map, then you have to click "previous" to drop at your original position. Still gotta figure that out. Look forward to submitting to OGT soon.

For the strange drops, check for a rogue hazard spline (either OB or water). I had the same issue on one of my courses and deleting the rogue spline fixed the issue.

I just played the front 9 and I think you did an outstanding job.  The greens rolled great, darn good FPS and it was fantastic to look at.  And... it had that Florida feel to it.

I did notice a number of hazard splines in the water and those should be moved to land.  I took 3 screens, but somehow I pasted two of the same shots into two different files.  Anyway, here are two of the three that need fixed on the front.

Great job!

Thanks for the helpful feedback!

I'm going to work on those hazard splines and add a second set of easy/medium/difficult pin placements.

Another question: My background noises seem to be too loud. Obviously you can just decrease the background noise volume in the JNPG audio settings, but I've tried multiple ways of decreasing global audio volume in Unity, yet it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any advice?

To adjust your audio you'll need a audio editing program. Here's a free program called Audacity that I used on my last project. Just import your audio clip into the program and adjust the volume levels in there. Then just import it back into Unity. That was the easiest way to adjust the volume for me anyhow.

At 4K this is a fantastic looking course. The wildlife is well done, not intrusive or corny, love the gator on the 7th.
