I've seen a few courses where the water levels rise and fall like ocean waves. How is that done? is it possible to make the water 'splash' when it encounters something like rocks?

LOL, you can still get it. go out to OGT and you can download it. Try Lands End

Not there, K11 maybe removed it. Anyway, I know Lands End by my good friend Pingzing2.

It's just ocean water. Yes there are many adjustments in the Inspector.

I haven't seen any "splash from the waves on the rocks."

Only designers though. So if your asking if just anyone can adjust those settings, then No, you can't.

I want to create a seaside fictional course. I was just wondering how to make the wave effect. The splash would just be icing on the cake (and pretty damn cool)

Ok, it's done for you. You really don't need to mess with the settings.  See if you can get this tutorial thru the link I provide.

Where do I get that package?

I just gave it to you in my last post near the bottom. When you clik on it, it takes you to a page where you can dl it, top right side of the page.

I have the package installed and I have created an island but I cant seem to get the water to animate as you show in the tutorial. Is there some setting I need to adjust? Which setting increases the wave height?

1. drag in ocean plane

2. click on down arrow just below asset store

3. make sure "animate is checked".
