This is a fun course to play in the Myrtle Beach area with all 18 holes inspired by famous Golf Holes from throughout the World. Replica Holes include Amen Corner, Augusta #16, St. Andrews #1, St. Andrews #18, TPC Sawgrass #17, among others.

Going to play tonight and let you know if I see anything out of the ordinary. I'm no expert on pins or anything though so I'll leave that to the other guys at OGT and here.

Is this a beta or a release because I seen some mistakes that a designer should not make.

When I designed Hazeltine National I probably playtested it 60 times or more, you have to play your course so you know what your missing. You won't find everything because sometimes you just miss it but you must playtest a lot, you should not rely on playtesters until you really think it is ready for release and then sometimes they will find something and then you have the choice to fix it or not.

Overall I think you did a nice job but it could have been better with these issues fixed. If you don't fix the glaring ones and just let it be you won't get many people playing your course and as a course designer this is why you design golf courses. I did not go thru the course with a fine tooth comb because it's pretty early in the morning and I got some things to do but fix those issues and upload a newer version please.

Issues I seen,

1. It seemed like you were using Lidar, you should have painted the outside where it still shows the overlay because you can still see it and it doesn't look good.

2. Ensure all tee boxes are surrounded by rough because that just looks LAZY and BAD, I don't see tee boxes raised by 5 inches in real life.

3. Ensure all bunkers are surrounded by rough and from what I seen I think you did that but I did noticed hole 12 I believe had two bunkers on the left that you did not surround so they float above the ground.

4. Green on hole 3 as Dave seen above, need to move a point or three and rebuild the splines on that green and that should take care of the problem.

I had an issue with one of the greens on the course I am re-creating, similar to hole 3 in this post. I moved splines and rebuilt many times without solving the problem. I eventually deleted the fairway spline on that particular hole and created a new one - this solved the issue for me.

I haven't loaded it but, by the looks of Dave's picture it looks like he just dug out the terrain too far for the bulkhead and got underneath the green. You can dig out as much as you want underneath the rough but you can't take anything out underneath the Green

when u say rebuilt you do mean refreshed the splines then rebuilt the course? because if you move the splines and rebuild without refreshing the issue will remain.

You have a problem at hole #9.  Your rendition of #18 at St. Andrews is just a bit off.

 Thanks for the feedback Joe,

1.  i had the background area painted before, didn't like it.  Not sure I like this either.

2.  I hadn't noticed the tee issue, it is fixed.

3.  Bunker fixed.

4.  Hole 3, I going to have to reload terrain, rebuild spline, and try again

Tresclub, the design is not mine, this is the actual course.  They use the term "Inspired By" instead of copy.

I wait to see if there is anything else since I have to reload the terrain to redo the #3 green.

Yes, sorry for any confusion. I deleted the original fairway spline that had this same issue, then I drew a new fairway spline and then refreshed splines.

The tear issue exists on the other island green as well.  As Justin mentioned, you've simply dug out a bit too far underneath.  Have encountered that problem myself.  Played all 18 last night..fun course.

Great course for the game would like to attempt kings north my self. Stayed at world tour golf a few years ago about 100 yards away from 9th green, I was in heaven staying there  just out on the main drag there were strip clubs fireworks warehouses and golf superstores.. what more could a guy want....I digress.......think your doing great with it.. there is some obvious smoothing that needs to be done and some splines that might need to be recalculated.... I'll leave you a detailed list over at the designer sec at OGT.

Wow, didn't realize this was a "real" golf course.  Went to their website, pretty amazing stuff.

FYI from the forward tees the course has hole 4 set as a par 2 instead of a par 4.
