How do you post images on the forum? I uploaded to Imgur and copied the link into a post but it just gives the link in the forum and not the image.

insert the link by using the pic icon, instead of the link icon in the reply options.

it wont work if you post the link directly within the body of the post.

The easiest solution for me is copying the "BB Code" link from imgur and paste it right into my post.

You will see the text only until it is posted if you are on a phone.

If you are on a PC or in desktop mode on your phone, you can preview your post to see the image before it's posted.

Imgur has a silly thing where it leaves the file extension out and it's annoying.

I keep getting this message "An error occurred  You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community". That's what I get when i try to copy an Imgur link and put it in a post. WTH am I doing wrong exactly? I copied and tried all 4 Imgur share option links and tried to post, all the same thing, error.

You don't need to click any of the buttons in the reply window.  Just copy the link from imgur.com and paste it into the reply window like any other text.  Below, I'll provide steps (in green) and images of what you should see when you use imgur.com.  This is without an account, by the way.  If you use an account at imgur.com, the options may change a bit, but it seems like you might be getting stumped when posting your image into your reply/post.

If I take a screenshot of your post, paste it to imgur.com, and then hover my mouse over the image, I get this screen:

3EGvK5Y.png

Then, hover your mouse over the down arrow on the right side of the image and click on "Get Share Links" in the drop down.  It should look something like this:

8pjfTJH.png

After clicking on "Get Share Links", an image that is similar to this one will appear:

k9mk9VM.png

Click on the COPY button below and to the right of the "BBCode (Forums)" option.  It should then look something like this:

RBNf16N.png

Then, paste (using CTRL-V) that link into your post/reply.  There is no need to click any buttons in the reply window to add URLs or links to the text - just use CTRL-V to paste the link.  Your reply will then have a line that looks something like this as part of the reply:

pctLvED.png

Finally, when you submit the post/reply (or preview it), the images should appear, as they do in this/my reply.

Thank you, I got it now. I only have one question Armand. How do I delete an image in edit post after I have already posted that image?

When editting the post, just put your cursor after the image and press backspace or place the cursor before the image and press delete ... just like deleting text from a post.
