Hi!  I haven't really created courses with water coming to play between and around holes so probably a stupid question but I would need some help with hazard splines. How should I mark the hazards in the pictures? They could all play as lateral (red) but if I remember correct it's not quite possible without silly drops. Is that correct? Any help and advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Mika

Rules of thumb:

Never leave an area of water outside of the hazard line or you might get an option to drop in the water  :o

If there will be no possibility of a reasonable drop keeping the ball in line with the flag, make it a lateral hazard

It's ok to overlap hazard splines

Try and draw the hazard lines on top of the slope to the water instead of the water's edge so as to give more reasonable drop options.

The rules of the real game sometimes give an option to drop miles away from the actual hole on the other side of the hazard. As it's this way IRL it sometimes will offer this drop in game but you can always cycle to the next option.

Hope this helps.

Mike. I have a similar situation as in Mikahenrick's last posted image. I drew a water hazard spline around the entire lake and then drew individual lateral water hazards splines at the water crossing point of each hole. Did I do this correctly? Thank you.
