Got this message tonight....when I click on the error it brings me to the little patch of rough showed in pic but there are no points to click on to delete the spline issue. Any suggestions? When I built the course file, there was no cup on the #1 green...

I also went Into debug mode and clicked everything and the spline never showed up either.

Do you have 2 terrains in the Hierarchy?

Have you looked underneath?

I only have 1 terrain.....
I'm stumped, I cant find the spline anywhere in the list but it keeps popping up with the error message...

I see 2 overlay images in the paint pallet, any reason for that?

Let's see your library and the layer it's happening on.

In your 3rd pic down it looks like a highlighted water plane,

which brings me to another question, why so many waterplanes?

Have you tried deleting and redrawing the spline?

Check the control points and make sure they are not crossed or

any doubles on top of one another.

I have a bunch of winding streams so I had to use multiple water planes...
The first overlay is the original, the second is my photoshopped one without trees etc...

I also deleted every spline on the hole and that tear is still present

Ok, whichever layer that is in the library, lower the grid fill

to say 1.5 and recalculate. It appers that your control points

are very close for a fwy or green, I would set the points per meter

a bit lower, they only need to be close for sharp angles like in a bunker.

Ok I'll give that a shot tonight and hope it works

Just a note: The grid fill will recalculate when you change it,

the points per meter will change with a re-draw.

tried and nothing changed... It looks like a little patch of rough except there are no splines anywhere near it. Keeps telling me it has less than 3 points but i Can't find even one to delete it.. I deleted all the splines on the hole, recalculated the whole course and it was still there. Here is what it looks like closeup with no other splines built on the hole.

I know I've had this problem and posted it in the old private beta forum.

I'm searching there now but a lot to go through.

Could you turn on the shaded wireframe and have a look

I know you said you looked through the splines already so sorry to ask this but...

After turning debug on, you went to the hierarchy panel, typed Spline into the search and clicked on every Spline and verified that it never was selected?

You also tried clicking on the misshapen mesh after Debug was turned on and it wasn't selectable?

It may not show if it somehow thinks it was never constructed but I find it hard to believe a mesh can be present and it not show in the hierarchy on debug. Maybe it is not named Spline if that crapped out but I have no idea what it would be named.

I found the spline in the hierarchy..somehow I must have missed it when I looked through the other night. Not sure how it even got there or how it had no points on it to delete the darn thing but its finally gone.. thanks for all the help.
