He was a major contributer to Links and Perfect Golf and was always there to lend a helping hand. He was also an admin at apcd-courses and ran the Online World Golf Tour for many years.

Sincere condolences to his friends and family. He will be missed by many.

What a great guy, he'll be missed by many.

RIP Rehit

I met Mick when i went down to Augusta during the Links days and when AJ and MJ were starting up PP.   We met in the waffle house, had breakfast and talked PC golf.  I went to the practice round and then met up with AJ, MJ at Micks house for dinner and perfect parrallel golf session.

He was a very nice host and his girlfriend was very nice.  Good son also.

Rest in peace...He was a nice guy

Rob

So sad to hear about Robert "Mick" Prendergast, aka Rehit, passing.  Beyond his love of golf, he was a master machinist and an avid motorcycle enthusiast.  I knew him from the old Dark Horse Golf Design days when he led the notorious clique with members such as Firehead, The Ape, JW, Pelle, etc.  This group was very focused on golf design, and were occasionally distracted by the early versions of "Call to Duty". He will be missed....memory eternal.

I think the snow is starting to let up!

This is truly sad news. Many of us that designed and played Links have so much to be greatful for all Mick did for us.

With the shutdown of apcd-courses, it took a little work, but I remembered Mick mentioning he had a stroke about a year ago. https://web.archive....7-bear-with-me/

Wishing you peace Mick.
