...on this real course.

This is how the water and the hole looks in CF. The hole for the water is 9M below the surrounding area including the green. The tee is at 41M so it's downhill all the way. The bounding box is pretty snug around the water. There is ocean around the course.Would be nice to get some help please.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking? But by looking at your first image it appears your splines do not match your overhead. Check and make sure you didn't accidentally moved the terrain. Just click on terrain in the hierarchy then over in the inspector the X, Y, Z should all be at 0 for the Position & Rotation.

All are at zero. What I'm asking is why is the water flooding out of the hole I dug and covering other parts of the course .

Either lower or scale the waterplane or both.

As you can see from the screenshot the water plane is at a height of 9 meters and the tee is 32 meters higher so I can't see how digging down any further is going to help. Also the water plane has been scaled right down. If I reduce it any further it won't fill the hole. Maybe I'm just not getting something ?

Well, looking at your first picture the splines don't seem to match up to your bunkers and fairways. Do you have the  mesh hidden in that picture? If not the mesh is below the terrain which is what your Third screenshot shows. To me your in game Screenshot looks like the mesh is below the terrain. That would indicate why you are standing on the mesh but your overhead is showing the bear terrain In game. If your terrain is set at 0 for the X, Y, Z for position and rotation Try to recalculate all of your splines and see if they don't show on top of the terrain.

The easiest way to help you would be creating a Skype account. Then you can just share your screen and it would be much easier to figure out. Just my two cents though.
