So, my pot bunkers aren't lowering when I hit the lower button.

I have the library settings displayed here - the thing that is driving me nuts is that I have literally copied all these numbers from another course where the pot bunkers are working flawlessly.

As you can see, the lower terrain button is depressed (highlighted in red).

I've noticed in some tutorials and examples that the "N" button below "Pot" next to the "F" is toggled on; I've done it both ways and it hasn't made any difference.

Try to hide your terrain in a different manner and see what happens.

I don't use the lower because it takes too long to calculate.

Select your terrain and go to the second check box down in the Inspector and untick it. It's the terrain mesh renderer. Unticking it will hide the terrain. It's basically an on/off switch to see the terrain mesh.

I think you need the have the word  "bunker" in the layer name, and not just "Pot"

So.... all I had to do was rename it to "pot bunker" and it worked. Everyone was right.

That's seriously bizarre....
