Yesterday, after several saves of a near finished course, I returned to CF and all the drawn splines had disappeared. I didn't have the "hide splines" icon set to on. Additionally, the compile task completes as normal but the course doesn't appear in the carousel.

Any ideas please.

You sure you have your proper scene loaded? Sometimes, I find it opens to a previously saved scene?

I look in the top left of my screen and confirm the scene name is the correct one.

Yes Matt, it's the right one  and in view of other CF oddities recently I'v even been checking the time and date of any saved file. And in view of other difficulties I too am looking at the top left to check the file name. I can see all the shapes of the fairways, greens, tees, rough but none have any drawn splines around them. It's like when you genuinely delete a spline, say fairway, you still see the outline of that fairway so if you want to re-draw you have a starting point.

I need to add that drawing of new splines isn't available either so I can't start again. Not that I would particularly want to on a near finished 18 holes !

If you can't draw splines you most likely need to re-import CF.

I see that you supposedly have 2 directinal lights, 1 is all that's needed.

If you keep using those Hero Speedtrees your tri count is going to soar.

What does it say next to file name top left? Web player? or windows standalone, Linux?

I had a crash during a course build the other day and somehow it reopened in web player mode. Once I switched back to Windows, Linux standalone, everything came back.

When I started the course I only had the hero version which was a free download from Speedtree. Somewhere along the way I acquired the desktop and mobile versions so I know I will have to go back and pick off those hero trees.

I have no idea why I have two directional lights. I know nothing about them so I wouldn't have been tempted to mess with them. Putting that down to what I've called "CF oddities" recently.

each course the the course forge plugin is considered stand alone.  SO it working in one course and not another does not really tell you anything.
