After this update my reflective water patch no longer works?  Not sure this is about.

I think it added the new wind model, native 3d volumetric grass, highly optimized real time water reflections, a new Avatar, next gen lighting engine and an integrated tour career mode with pro shop for gear customization... and the whole package is running on Vulkan and is super performant and gets everything possible out of the latest hardware..

Probably just overwrote the changed water files

New updates allways do this.

Just tried to re-install the 4 files for Reflective patch - now PG1 is a no-go at startup.  Thanks so much, Steam.

Oh no!!
Ugh

Is tamuchan anywhere to be found for a fix?
I love my reflective water!

I hate this modern world of forced auto updates.

Good thing for me I decided not to add that patch...

Anyway, I haven't spotted anything new...  But the game had been getting a little choppy-looking (like the ball landing in fairway and appearing to bounce erratically just a little bit before ending up where it was going in the first place) and that stuff seems to have gone away now.

Went to Digital Storm and ordered me up a nice gaming machine :)

Intel i3 chip at 3.9G

16 gig DDR4 RAM

GeForce 970 GTX 4gig vid card

240G SSD

1TB HD

Windows 10

It's HERE!!  JNPG runs great with all the bells and whistles at max or close to it...  I still turn 3D render off for the swing, tho.

Only thing, to me, that seems different is the first time you bring up the overhead map it shows the entire hole layout (higher view?).  The map now stays "on" when going to the next shot.

I think it addressed the sync in multiplayer.  Seems I had a much smoother play experience yesterday in a four player round. Only way to know is to try it with a player or players you have experienced jitters and lag with in the past.

FOV (field of view) = 36 now.  I noticed it immediately.  Bring up the console in game via f8 and type in g_fov

It used to be 45 but before that it was 37 until the December 2017 update!

The camera is much closer to the golfer now as it used to be.  Probably makes little difference to those using the meter but the game may feel different to those on RTS.  I know I hated the move to FOV of 45.  Am more than happy to re-adjust again.  Strange as to why FOV has taken all this time to basically revert back to where it was 18 months ago.

Maybe to help with the 3d grass we now have.... Less in view = better fps?

I agree the shadow looks horribly diffuse now so there has been some major graphics changes it seems.

I had to agree to an "End User License Agreement". First time I recall that, except when the game was released.
