Speaking of the overhead map, there are some course types where it sure is hard to tell where the hell you’re supposed to be going and what is part of the current hole or not.

It’s too bad there’s no way to have the overhead map highlight what is or is not part of the current hole and not just be a sort of a basic overhead camera up there and no more

The overheads seem to just be zoomed out camera shots of the hole. The problem with this (and I suppose it's just Unity) is that the quality of the image deteriorates significantly as you zoom out.

JNPG was updated today. Everything now looks like before this little patch.

Any news?

Can I replace the files again?

Oh FFS what is going on?

However what happened has not altered FOV - still set at 36.  Like Clint I I just replaced the 2 files from this patch and shadows back again.

I replaced them also...when I restarted the game, it didn't change them back, so that's good.  :)

Totally confused about the patch files. I verified my JNPG files.  My actual content build is 3873230. Now which files should I use for the patch? The JNPGver14301patch (4 files) and overwrite it with the JNPGver14302patch (2 files) or what?

I would expect that a new patch would be required since the mainData and Assembly-CSharp.dll files (in which the patch changes are made) were updated in yesterdays update, effectively erasing the changes made by Tamuchan in the most recent patch.

If you backed up your files before putting in the new mainData and Assembly from that Tamuchan PATCH by moving them, zipping them up or renaming them you could put them back and see if your reflective water came back. I would obviously back these new ones up as well just incase.

I wish we could get some clarity from "up top" about wth is going on with these little micro updates and breaking the patches, etc.

My goodness..

It's almost like their internal testing/dev builds are getting pushed to the public update channel on Steam or something.

Anyone tried PM'ing Andrew or Mike?

I have in the past, but to no avail on anything in the last year or so
