This has no point other than I'm sitting here waiting on video to encode..

Man I wish we could get more gear and outfits and all that..
..and a new avatar of course.

The other day I fired up TW14 on my PS3 and forgot how much fun it can be to tweak your golfers gear and look, etc.

It's a whole world of customization we are sadly missing here.

too true...I remember firing up PG the first time and being very excited when I spotted the ingame `store` , lol. And wondering why nothing came up when I repeatedly clicked on `Drivers` and outfits...

I know this is old, but don't know why the current devs can't sell the computer version to programmers /investors that can upgrade/improve into a PG2!

The code that’s used to make the game is why. It would be up to TM to allow their code to be used.

Well, then just let us modify/enhance PG1!   They can have PG2, the community will make PG1 into something spectacular!

Got to be honest, clothing, different clubs, players etc really doesn't bother me. Just concerned about gameplay.

Just as a counterpoint to that… We have potentially the best game play ever here, but without any career mode or built-in tournaments or any sort of gear upgrades or ways to customize your avatar…

They couldn’t make it and had to sell…

I think for the majority of gamers it needs to be a more full fledged offering to be financially viable to maintain and develop over time.

Yes, I didn't mean I was concerned with the gameplay, just that's more important than stuff to buy (apart from courses). The meat of the game was far from filling, good job we have OGT and PGLS for that side of things.

hmmm, all I need is a blue shirt, white pants and white shoes and that's it. Anyway I also would like to have the chance to create my own shirts like I did at Links 2k3. Names on the back etc, that was a great thing to personalize the golfer. Oh well, maybe sometimes...

Who cares...

It would be so awesome to create and edit our own gear in Photoshop

Seems I recall Links 2003 had a program that allowed custom, shirts, pants, gloves, shoes and clubs.   All these  items were attribute free meaning no extra distance or loft change.  Just various woods, irons, wedges, shafts and putters.   The community had designer who did the  items and we could download them.  That would be a small step forward IMHO.
