BTW, I see we've had a hater drop in and cast a "1 star" vote for this thread, without comment no less     I'd love to know what about KChavis' post says anything remotely close to warranting a 1 star vote?

Maybe because it is for TGC19 and not for PG1 There are always ppl like that, no worries I never had the idea to rate a topic, weired stuff lol

Oh I'm sure it's because it's for TGC 19... but to think that there's level of partisan, childish pettiness that exist over a notification of a course release is mind boggling to me.  Yeah, I know we're always going to have people like that who are fueled by fanboyism over reason, but even still, new levels of pettiness are reached that make me scratch my head.

Generally speaking I think it’s better for Forums in this day and age to dispense with any ratings of threads and likes and dislikes which all just push mob mentality and increase polarization across communities

BTW Matthew, I just played the course off the tips with default conditions.  It's a fantastic course... what creative use of the Delta theme!  I think I owe you rent for the fairway bunkers on the left side of each par 4 and 5... I think I was in each of them; they are strategically placed from someone who's having a draw problem like I'm having right now.  But man... that course just looks so freakin' pure and real!

Did you announce it in the Completed Courses thread at HBS' forum?  If so, I missed seeing it, but I usually comb that thread every day.  I saw that it had 68 plays on the XBox One when I played it earlier today, but it had yet to garner a course rating.  I'm not sure how that works because I've seen courses with 24 plays that have a rating, and others with as many as 90 plays, without a rating.  Maybe it's people who play the course and then bail out before they select a rating?

 

I know I'm planning on setting Macedon as the venue for The Digital Sportspage Society Daily on Monday, so hopefully it will have a rating after that.  I gave it 5 stars and favorited it after I played it.  How long ago was it published?

 

EDIT:  I now see that it was announced back in late December of 2018.  Sorry, I guess I, along with quite a few other golfers missed seeing that announcement.  Well... I was out of town that week, so that explains my inattention.  It might see a revival now!

BTW TGC2019 looks & plays fine under Linux.
