How do I start a hotseat game..new owner of this game.. golf should be played with friends even on rainy days when you hold a mouse instead of a club, lol.. nothing like your regular foursome, beers in hand playing a good PC golf game.

You click multiplayer, set the type of game and get the required number of people to join the game.  Or, if they are steam friends you just click on their name and invite them to join the game.

Steam friends is the key here, just make sure you have everyone on ur steam list and you all have the same course version...good to go!

I do thank you gentlemen, though hotseat means two or more using the same computer.

Ahhh, I was going to ask what a "hotseat game" was. I think you just need to create different players from the players screen.

You don't have to play offline for local multiplayer. Choose "Solo" and then set up match settings, then, the next screen you will be able to add players and set teams.

Now, I do this to play local multiplayer on the simulator. I guess it's possible you aren't presented this option?
