Being held in the beautiful town of Portrush on the northern irsh north coast with amazing scenery and usually bad weather. Looking for some predictions on the winner . I tipped Danny Willet maybe a few yeas ago for one of the majors and he won got him at 66/1. My tip for this one is Tommy Fleetwood so consistant and deserves a major . Bookie offered me 33/1 today so i grabbed it.

An interesting video on the 2019 Portrush Course with much background information on what makes a links course so special. In this case a close up look at specific things like the rough, the greens, the bunkers and what it takes to make (and maintain) a top links course. Enjoy!

he did a fantastic job and it plays sweet as can be

if you got the game give it a try.

Keep an eye on Matt Wallace, worth an E/W punt.

No wind, no rain......Xander Soufflé.
I agree with DoGgs. Matt Wallace is a serious contender assuming he doesn’t spontaneously combust after a 3 putt before Sunday evening.

Henrik Stenson - weather does not matter  :D   He has had issues for a long time, but has played better and better the last month. Came 4th in Scottish Open last weekend, but my tips is more based on hope than facts...

Rahm looks good to me. In great form and looks ferocious! ^_^ Lowry could also be a candidate. And Fleetwood. He too could be a real contender. Other than that, it's still up in the air as far as i can see. So much can happen in links and the weather is always in play. Portrush sure is a Motha of a course! This course should return more often in the rota!! And what about JNPG?...

Its going to be a doozy! Brisky winds, gusty, rain and 9 to 10 stimp on the greens. Love it or hate it, links golf is something else!

Yes indeed, Portrush is a great classic Links course.  I only wish one of our many talented JNPG designers would take this one on and share it with us.
