First, let me say I'm very grateful for the variety and quality of the community generated courses that make this game interesting. That said, is it really necessary to have a 267 yard par 3..dogleg left..with a 7 mph wind to the right? And to make it even worse, the "medium pin" is behind a bunker 12 feet from the edge. Other that the elevations in the mountain states, the Stableford comes to mind, is there a hole like this on any pro tour? I'm under the impression that par on a par 3 assumes on in 1 with two putts. Without a 0.00 snap (and from what I've read regarding tournaments, that is a no-no), pretty much impossible here.

C'mon man!

Rant over. Flame away.

No flame, but you only need a 3W to reach, sure there's plenty of Par 3 off the longest tees around the world which need that?

If you needed a Driver with a tail wind to reach, then that would be unreasonable.

I can't reach 256 (forget about the 267) with a three wood without help from wind from behind, especially since the pin placement requires a shot over the trees. Needed loft, with wind.  My experience is that side-wind provides ZERO impact on the ball if you hit snap. If no snap then the wind takes over.

Minimap shows a shot point.  I think its a bug.  Designer likely meant it as a drivable par 4.  You don't put shot points on par 3s.

You DON'T make par 3's dogleg lefts period no matter the length, 235-240 should be max length CHAMP tees for a par 3..lmfao

Maybe they just put the wrong par down? It happens. The design of the hole looks to me like it was meant to be a par 4, but I could be wrong.

267 does seem long for a 3, but it's not unheard of. #8 at Oakmont and #8 at Cherry Hills are both in that range, although the latter has altitude assisting it.

By the look of the hole layout. Dogleg, fairly long fairway with a bunker, I think the hole is desgined as a very short par 4 but has been mislabled as a par 3.
