I have a course ready for release but just realised there is what appears to be an ocean sound playing all over the course. There is no ocean in the course. I searched the hierarchy for water and ocean and found what can be seen in the attachment relative to a waterfall. The only sounds in the Assets folder is the PG course wide tree and bird sounds. Any ideas how to get rid of the ocean sound ?

BTW I have no idea what waterheater and waterheater#1 are.

Look for an Audio source in the Hierarchy,

you can also double click on anything

in the hierarchy and you'll be taken to it.

Also highlight the waterheater thing and in the inspector untick it and see what changes...might give you a clue

I agree with Rob... waterheater is where I would start.  Especially if you didn't put them in.  They haven't been standard in any of my builds and I've used the waterfall...

Yiu got it thanks. I see the audio sphere on hole 5 and when I select it I see it in standard assets/environment/water/water/models described as ocean plane. However in the inspector under audio source the audio clip is described as ambient_trees. Why the difference ? When I double click on the audio clip in "sounds" it plays as a mixture of birds and ocean sound. Is this just a corrupt file and why has it never raised it's head before ? Always use the basic CF tutorial course.

Water heater is an interior  component in a house called "new+duplex".

The Ambient trees should be a Global sound not

a Local sound as you seem to be describing.

Maybe Gremlins are attacking your project, have

you been feeding them after midnight?

No I didn't say it was a local sound -  I said that the ocean sound was a global sound ("playing all over the course".) and as we now know the bird sounds and the ocean sound are embedded together - still a global sound. No info on these aspects...?
