Is this true for JNPG Sim users?

I haven't seen any confirmation in writing, just a rumor,

for me anyway.

It could mean the plug will get pulled as they own the rights to the game now.  So sad.

if the PC side survives, they'll probably develop a $20k mouse you are forced to use

From what I understand, PC will not be affected.

I doubt this pertains to PC/PG players. That woud be Steam's decision to stop supporting JNPG - highly unlikey IMHO.

I wonder where this leaves Mike and Andrew? Are they still developing for TM? Could be interesting.

I'm pretty sure a publisher can pull a game from Steam if they want to.

Licensing of content and resources can change for a developer or title thus necessitating a pull from something like Steam, so I don't see how they could really "force you to stay on Steam" if they don't want a title out in the wild anymore.

This has nothing to do with PC game players it's just a sim pass thing. I'm really sorry for Zmax and all the guys at OGT who have done an amazing job over the years but if you think about it, it's a logical decision from Trackman and if anything IMO makes a new game more likely now for PC/Console.

BTW I can assure you that no one got rich, it was just a matter of keeping the lights on and continuing development which would not have happened without Trackman.

so if I am understanding this correctly, the sim users got thrown under the bus in the name of continued pc development.  that's wonderful.

was the plan that us sim users would just suck it up and magically all go purchase trackman units for 4x our current device costs and in some cases, 10x our current cost?  Not to mention the 4x reoccurring subscription costs?

I pay('d) $250 per year.  How much do the pc users contribute each year?

Trackman makes simulator hardware.

I am not surprised they’d like to lock in all the software and features onto only their Sim hardware and make it all a compelling and feature rich hardware and software integrated product offering.

I doubt normal PC usage even pops on their radar honestly, but at the minimum it really isn’t a parallel offering in the same way as using other non TM simulator hardware is.
