Here is something that has bothered me about PG since it's conception an really should be addressed in PG2 if indeed it ever becomes a reality. In all my 50 some years of playing actual golf, I have never seen a fairway shot where the ball is noticeably above your feet where it does not result in a pull shot. So the ball has to be played further right for the adjustment. Conversely, if below your feet usually results in a push shot and should be played farther left than usual. I have yet to detect any difference in a change of direction of the flight of the ball in either a downhill or uphill lie in this Sim. If you hit the snap line on the meter the ball will travel in a straight direction irregardless of whether your stance is above or below the ball. Even EA Sports addressed this properly in TW. They actually got something right for a change.

Ball lie has really never been a factor in PG. Truth of the matter is, I have never took the ball lie into consideration in this game like I did in Links or any other golf game I have played.

My feeling has always been, if you're going to call PG a golf simulation instead of a golf game, it should emulate the actual golf swing as close as possible don't you think?

Try playing TP and hitting a 3 wood off a side slope, you'll see the effect.

I always took this into account in JNPG. No wonder I suck.

Uphill and downhill lies have quite a big effect.
Sidehill lies do not.
Well said - I totally agree.

Playing tour pro the lie uphill or down does play a signifant part on your shot try it; even more so playing woods it can take a chunk and results in less distance
