Good thing the captain picked himself.

I thought Leish was the weaker link yesterday?

Okay. I didn't get to see much of that match. The young bloke was a bit shaky early yesterday.

Headed out there tomorrow. Looks like Eldrick is sitting the morning sesh so I'm gonna show up towards the end of the four balls and watch the end of those, then follow his foursomes match, assuming he doesn't sit the whole day.

M Rose, speaking of the Presidents cup.....do you like your version of Royal Melbourne better than the Classic Renditions version? :D..Enjoy the golf!

A great day of golf.

I can't believe Leish and Ancer got out of that with a half.

It's going to be compelling golf tomorrow.

I actually haven't played it. I don't have PG installed right now because the hard drive with all my stuff on it is in storage being shipped over from the US. I was supposed to have it by now, but US Customs charged us $1800 for a surprise random inspection which we did not authorize or were warned about, and they are basically holding all of our belongings until we pay for it. But I digress...

I would have liked to maybe touch mine up a little bit and also put out the correct composite routing; I have the wrong 14th hole in my version (#4 East instead of #16 East) - but I didn't have lidar so I'm not sure I would have been able to get it right anyway. If I had to do it now I'd probably try to overlay it since everything is more or less entirely unmaintained except for fairways and surrounds, greens and tees.

That match I think turned for good at #17; I watched every afternoon match there from just left of the green, and just about anybody who came up short there made bogey. At first I thought that Fowler and Thomas were just being sloppy, but the groups that followed them made the same mistakes. For what was seemingly a really benign hole turned into a nightmare just based on the pin position surrounded by nothing but short grass.

Schauffele and Cantlay won that hole and the match by playing 40 feet right of the pin on purpose.

Regardless the incorrect routing, your version is amazing, as is Classic Rendition's.

 Enjoy the tournament!

p.s. There's some great Indian food to be had in Melbourne!

USA sunk so many 20 to 30 footers. It was incredible. And Scott is still a boofhead. You can't blow hot and cold like that.

But anyway it was exciting golf.

Congrats USA

Scott had done his job up til yesterday.  From what I saw Schauffele got hot.

Brutal loss, but you could see it coming.  The two points USA stole/salvaged on day 2 proved valuable.

This time the bad guys win.

Has he served his time in the military? Sangmoon Bae was really peaking in his career and then had to serve for his country. Would be a bummer to see him have to go away for a few years.

It will be interesting to see if Korea becomes a force in men's golf like they are on the ladies side. I have a feeling that if one of them breaks through it could open the floodgates.
