EA really was in the wheelhouse with a *great* game there in 2012...

I loved 2014 also (still have it), but it felt like a real "peak" in 2012-ish.

 

It's incredibly disheartening to see what has now taken place since then...

 

I'll bet very few would have said, if you'd asked them then, that in 2019 EA would be 4 years removed from even participating in the video game Golf genre.

Your best hope is that Tiger wins another major and enough gamers show interest in golf for a year or two.

Well - to be honest, I wish they’d just commit to a “PGA game” and let the roster and cover athlete fluctuate over time (like Madden).

 

Tiger won’t last forever and I wish they’d just build the platform and commit to a longer, but slower, page with a golf offering.

 

Seemed like they’d done the hardest part with Rory (just building the modern base engine)...

I still play TW13 on my PS3 and taking that system with me to Florida for the winter when we leave the 1st of the year.  It give me something to play till we get back in March and the game is still fun to me.  Sad EA got out of the golf game business and I also would like to see them come back with another.
