I have connected my 4K TV to my PC and the result is very good. I now like to play JNPG even more.

I was critical of this game when it was published years ago but now I think it is worth buying. It is sad to see that the game seems to be abandoned.

There are some of us who would choose to pay a yearly subscription to keep the game alive. PP, it is all up to you.

Some of us do not play online. Would it be practical for PP to issue the game on DVD, independent of STEAM? Personally I would pay $30 to $50 for the game on DVD.

The game seems to be on the verge of disappearing forever but if we have it on DVD we can play it till we die.

The game will die when the Windows OS advances with newer and newer code/tech. It’s already broken for MAC users and to a degree Linux users such as myself. Maybe, this game will work in a virtual box, or emulator down the road.

That's a long ways away (with Windows in particular I mean).

I think the game would die from a steam related issue or update not being made before a Windows OS related incompatibility.

I play PG on both Linux Mint 19.3 & Salient (Arch) w/o any issues.

Are you using wine to play the game? Or did you find a way to use OpenGL? I still have some problems under Mint as the mouse clicks aren't working too good on 3C. Game recognizes clicks way too late :(

Who cares...

I have Steam use Proton to run the game in Linux. I play RTMS vertical so can't comment on 3C.

The game seems to be on the verge of disappearing forever but if we have it on DVD we can play it till we die.

This was a concern I had when they first talked about putting it out on Steam - If steam kicks it off somehow or something its gone. I have many games on DVD as long as I keep my computer - Windows 7 I can play them even when they come out with Windows 28 or whatever.

The following is from the internet:

What happens to my games if steam closes?
Originally Answered: What would happen to our games if Steam shuts down? You'll lose all of them. ... That issue with steam, by the way, is a common problem with all “online-only” drm titles. Servers do not exist forever, and one day they'll go offline.
Perfect Parallel should offer it on dvd for a nominal fee ???

Little known fact when King Arthur was trying to make a golf course and he ran into some conflict. King Arthur: There's a peace only to be found on the other side of war. If that war should come I will fight it!    Other important fact. Read the Book of John in the Holy Bible.

I’m most likely wrong but I thought the game was running on Steam servers and would stay up till PP tells them to pull it?

I highly doubt that PP could pull a game you paid for from the Steam servers.

I'm unsure on that.  I'm think a publisher can pull a game or at least curtail it quite a bit, if they want to (or need to for their own licensing/other reasons).

Customer licensing limitations I think pretty much give the Publisher and Steam all the rights to do those sorts of things.

This sort of stuff is very sadly skewed heavily away from customers on most software, e-books and other digital "purchases" (usually more like rentals really)
