Playing the new update.

 I love the BLI concept!

But I just can't see the bloody thing.  Maybe some options to change it's color or make it way brighter?  (or both)

Should be dark, playing in fog make it light and hard to see (bug)

Just wish there was more contrast on it.

On a green with shadows it's impossible to see for me.

It needs to be 'white' in all playing conditions, period. I've been pushing this but to no avail. It's impossible to use playing early morning, late afternoon when the shadows rule. Might be OK at high noon on a course with no trees, but IMHO, that's about it. I love it, use am not happy with its appearance.

Agree about color needing to be light/white.

Not sure why a dark color was chosen as grass is already green and then only gets darker depending upon conditions, shadows and time of day.

All that said -  I LOVE the BLI.  Way more enjoyable to putt this way!

Ok, something is very weird. My BLI is Black..........I'm colour blind, so it's possible it's very dark green but it looks black to me. It functions perfectly as in I can now read my putts correctly but I think the line is too thick and it would look much nicer thinner. The biggest problem is my cursor arrow blocks the bottom of the BLI, it would be nice it the cursor disappeared when holding down the left mouse button.

It may view differently if using RTW and when not using RTW...

I agree about the mouse arrow, I wish the icon could simply disappear...

I love it, far far more accurate than using the grid.... As for the color... easy enough to make it a selectable option for each player.. I'd use a nice orange color myself.

Love the BLI. Keeps the appearance of the green "clean". Hate the grid. Just need something to indicate the slope of the "through the green" lie now.

The green BLI seems to be a bit "clunky" as the mouse is moved. Perhaps a more fluid looking graphic could be used. Sure this will be tweaked at some stage.

All in all a great addition to the game and really happy to see the steady progression.

Am enjoying the journey so far. Keep up the good work PP Team!

I'm liking the BLI very much but I would request it moved to the right button or have the option to use either, this would stop the camera view switching about when scanning the ground ... just a thought.

If you keep your left button pressed down and move the BLI around the view wont change as you scan your putt's line.

Well I must say well done as it is much more accurate than the grid and being and old Links Raw guy I am one happy Hacker again.  I played a few holes this morning and it is spot on and even made a 25 footer with two breaks in it which is where I really believe it will shine.  Well done team and great update.

And you will make the line 'WHITE' for all courses and all weather conditions, correct? I just threw in the 'for all courses' because I didn't want to give you any 'wiggle' room. :P

I agree it needs to be a more visible color, cant see it in the shadows. Had much rather look at a Hi Viz BLI for a minute or less while checking the lie in the fairway or lining up a putt than the grid any day

I always use the BLI in Links, no grids carpeted over the green, lol.

Difference with Links BLI is the indicator is always the same length and the severity of slope is shown by the yellow gauge at the bottom of the marker.

I do like PP's take on this by having the BLI itself change length depending on severity of slope. Like others I would personally prefer an alternative colour, and wouldn't have an issue with a hi-vis version, maybe yellow, which should be viewable in all conditions/shaded areas.

Just chiming back in and hoping we can either select a color ourselves or there is at least one color choice that's high viz (magenta/yellow/white).

Since the BLI is only seen when you choose to use it, I could care less what hideous color it is --- so long as I can actually see it!  :-)

I would care what hideous colour it is. I like things to look as natural as possible.

I hope everyone realizes my post #15 was in jest.

The BLI needs to be 'WHITE' for all playing conditions and all courses.
