Makes zero sense. Whether you like the game or not, TGC has tons of free courses for you to enjoy. Other games with map editors also have free content. User made courses in PG should be the same.

Although I was mentioning TW 08 and not TGC I am glad you did.  TGC's one click generation course making is the reason over 95% of their courses are straight away snoozers.  I would rather pay for quality over free "quantity".  As for saying what I stated makes no sense I would like to visit your world where expectations of quality for free exist.  I simply have not seen it.  Tiger Woods 11 online was a pay to play game unless you wanted severe limitations.  Some I believe just want everything in life for free unless it is themselves working a job.

So pay for it then, I could care less.. as for tgc, that was just an example of games today that have free content, where you indicated no longer exists. I have never played TW11. And besides, quality is in the eyes of each individual. What you may think is ugly, other may think its gorgeous. Point is, if my friends, family and myself take the time to build courses whether they are exceptionally well made or stinkers, we should not have to pay for those, especially if I want to give it to them for free.

Still have those old 5" floppies,

and the 3" ones, along with all the

boxes, scorecards, bag tags, etc..

Not sure why I keep them, but they do

bring back some fond memories when

I dig them out.

You think that's bad...lol...  I've got similar old discs, plus many very early APCD courses and beta courses no longer available... plus the betas of APCD, plus the old LS days (1997) and beyond Links versions incl Extreme. Plus I have several old CD's of some sites and weblinks and images, chat transcripts, wavs, old threads captured in pdf of rare stuff that isn't so 'new' now lol. Old content from sites such as Bubsnews, MSN Zone and a few others.... I need to throw some of this away..

Got a chance to play test Bethesda this afternoon.  Here's a couple of screenshots.

The tennis courts

The tennis court building with the domed winter courts behind it.

And here's a nice shot of the 9th green with the clubhouse and pools to the right.

It's really coming along quite nicely!

If these courses are great replicas of the real courses, then i'll buy them all.

Andrew is a member there, and I've played with him a few times on this course.  He loves to give you a good nature'd ribbing as you leave your approach above the hole only to face a treacherous down hiller and then listen to him happily report, "It does that in real life too!" as you watch in horror as your ball sails 10 feet past the hole... LOL.  It's real allright.. :)

Nice collection Ian, I have 1 tee,1 ball marker, and 1 repair tool.

I'm hoping that PP (pee pee) will come out with at least a pair of Boxer/briefs.

...and they say there is no INNER CIRCLE? Of course there is. But how wise are they? (C'mon...you guys are pretty wise...right...)
