....no one is scrapping any swing typeI just looked at the scoreboard for this week being that I am on vacation and noticed something very interesting. Of the 177 players who have entered and started the event not one player is using the Motion Swing. What happened to that swing type? My opinion is that it is the best and the hardest to master simply due to the fact that it's all about tempo and timing and it's very hard to compete with that swing level. The shame is that IMO it was the best and still is but has been cast to the dumpster due to being hard to master. I suspect I will get creamed for saying it but it is what it is.
Im with ya...love MS and RTS pro.'s...it shows me playin pro at Ocean view but not swing type yet

Its very similar to RTS-M. I used to be an MS guy but I switched to RTS-M straight away. Apart from the overswing the rest of the motion is much the same except I'm watching the avatar instead of the mouse pointer.
The big difference is in the overswing area and mostly its just best not to go there. The hard part is determining when to stop the backswing without venturing into the danger zone. That said, once you know how to react if you do see you've gone into the dangerzone it is possible to compensate on the downswing with a faster action.
I loved MS but now I love RTS-M even more.

MS is tough but not as tough as RTS M in my opinion. I am just now getting to the point I can almost shoot the scores I was shooting with MS before moving to RTS M. The swing meter with MS is a big advantage when knowing how hard to hit the shot. RTS is more by "what looks right" and feel for me.

I like watching the avatar for my swing. I can't stand watching a meter.

I didn't know that the game now detects what type of swing people are using and that is a good thing and glad we have that. My question now is how long before we can detect what equipment players are using? A mouse is a mouse but with controllers we have quite a few and they all react differently in the game and it would be good to know if a player is using a Xbox360, PS4 or any of the other 3rd party ones out there. Just curious and great job with all these improvements.

I think that should be possible as well. If PP can do that and send it on the api, we'll use it.

Zmax,
Just out of curiosity, if someone changes swing types during a tournament, what icon appears?
It might be fun to have a "mixed swing" fun tournament where each round is played with a different swing type, or a 2 round/2 round split (Since not everyone has controllers)
That could get ugly haha

I think it's based on your last round. So, if you switch, I think it will change it for the tournament.

I have tried all swings including controller(xbox360) For me i prefer the mouse swing , i tried them and for me mouse swing is my prefered swing.I will still play rts-m at times but it messes up my motion swing game .To all the more you stay with your prefered style you will improve your game.Just dont like the crap ohhh im using the hardest swing method you are not worthy attitude i see on here.Pro Tour pro RTS_M players i applaud you it is without a doubt the hardest play style.I play it l only problem i have is shooting 85- 90% shots that kills me.Well and the ratio
