And Virtual Pool 4 is on sale on Steam now for $12.49*.

http://store.steampo...com/app/336150/

This is the single player component, the multiplayer is a free download from the Celeris site. Looks pretty lively from what little I have messed with it.

* Steam summer Sale, no idea when this price ends, guessing soon.

I have it. I'm not a pool player by any means but vp4 is worth the money to me. The single player campaign is fun. Have never did the mp side. I payed full price for it when it first came out. Would pay full price again if I had too.

Thanks for the heads up on this.  Picked it up.  Can't get the multiplayer to work yet but will figure it out.  Nice game for that price for sure.

Multiplayer is a separate download, it's free. You'll have to create an account at Celeris to login for the multiplayer. Looks to be a vibrant, bustling community judging from the lobbies. I loved VP3 and still play it so when I saw this on sale at Steam for $12 and change versus $29 at their site I decided to go for it.

The MP being free likely has lots of temptation to buy goodies, haven't looked into that. For those on the fence, get MP for free and see how you like it. Can't beat free.

This is the only game I play all the time now both online and offline had it for over a year now.  Mainly snooker.  Nicely done.

hey mailman, try snooker nation, its real cheap too.

check out my 147 albeit with aids on..I have played snooker all my life to a pretty high standard. Still playing today, but not as good as i once was.  My claim to fame is that i once played John parrott in a pro-am, i made a century in frame 1 then lost 4-3! way back in 1987.

You have to download the multiplayer separately from the celeris website. In case you haven't gotten that far yet.

It's free but they tempt you with stuff. I couldn't care less what my cue looks like.
