I have 2 issues with the Putting Grid and I think they are related...

1. Putting grid does not extend all the way to the hole, it only goes out from the ball 1-1/2 grid boxes.

2. When the putting grid appears, the dots move until they reach the first intersection, they they stop at the intersection, and start to grow in size until the entire screen is obscured by a white haze.

My drivers are up to date. I have tried all of the graphic levels from low to ultra high and it happens on all.

any help would be appreciated. Here is a video, please excuse the watermark.

You can read about this issue in the previous thread about it:

http://www.perfectpa...cfg#entry100674

Or, check your "Green Grid Cell Width" setting and change it to say, 1.5.  That should take care of the white, growing blobs.  I believe you can then reset it to 1.0 to tighten up the grid to help you with reading the breaks.  If that doesn't help, check the setting in the console:

- while in the game, press F8 (you can check the key to open the console in the Settings/Controls page)

- place your cursor in the top line (where it says 'type a command here') and type  gr_cellwidth

- the current value should be shown and if it is less than 1.0, you may run into issues.

If you have to make this setting in the console to fix your issue, then you're best to create an autoexec.cfg file and set the green cell width in that.  Check that out here:

http://www.perfectpa...hl=autoexec.cfg

I'm not sure about your other issue about the grid not reaching the hole.  Many players have turned off the grid and use the break line indicator (BLI) instead.  There are a few players that don't use either the grid or the BLI, in case you want to give that a go!

The autoexec.cfg files has not worked for green cell width for 2 main updates now.  Also the issue with the huge balls is not related to that.  Although I forget the command line it is the one with a -1 instead of 1 that causes the issue.  Hopefully someone else can chime in the console pathway for it.

Thanks for the console fix - that took care of the grid as well...  where is BLI located though? didn't see it in game options. Is it in console somewhere as well?

The BLI is located under the Player settings in the game.  I believe it is the first one and it's a simple on/off toggle.  There is a guide for using the BLI here:
