JNPG is not optimized. So I made patches for it.

Patch for Assembly-CSharp.dll
Pros
The framerate for low power GPU is about 1.4 times.
SLI is enabled. (The framerate leaps in some courses that don't use heavy shaders such as 'Nature/Soft Occlusion Leaves shader' and 'Nature/Soft Occlusion Bark shader'.)
Cons
Menu Screen is not translucent.
GlobalFog is disabled. (Because I don't like it.)
Patch for mainData
Exclusive fullscreen mode is enabled. (CrossFire is enabled in fullscreen mode.)
Stutter Problem may be solved in exclusive fullscreen mode.
Tip for Course designers
Don't use trees and grasses that use 'Nature/Soft Occlusion Leaves shader' and 'Nature/Soft Occlusion Bark shader'.
These shaders need huge CPU power. So even if you have a high power GPU, the framerate is low.

I deleted my patch for v1.4.2.2 on 2017/02/24.
Because JNPG is updated on 2017/02/27.
The new patch will be uploaded here:

Who are they? Only 8 posts and they're giving us "patches"?
Vetting is the smart way to defend against potential hazards, this we already know.

Well we tested this and it seems to work as intended (FPS boost) and we would consider this a community mod. Having said this you use it at your own risk and perhaps some more info from the OP would not go amiss.

ok so far I can say that there was a small but recognizable boost for FPS on PGA National with reflective water.
1st off: Bitdefender didn't show any reaction on the download and the unpacking. So I guess that the file is clean. I replaced the files in the package with the original files (saved the originals) and then started a test.
Holes 1 - 3, results without patch: FPS range 25 low 57 high
Holes 1 - 3, results with patch: FPS range 28 low 71 high
I guess it could help even if the results might not be enough for low end GPUs. It worked fine for me tho.
Who cares...

I think that messing around with the transparency and atmospheric haze in a third party file can break the graphics look somewhat so I'm not keen on that aspect of it.

At least on my rounds I didn't mention anything bad, but I agree with you on that, who ever wants to try it out, it's on your own risk. Things that work on my rig must not do the same on yours. Would be much better if tamuchan would explain what he did.

Holy batman! A totally stutter free meter with a i7 and GTX 1080! Wow! Only thing is I had to take off pause render or I got a white screen on swing. Thank you for this!

I don't have the problem.
What are your OS and graphic driver version ?

I have an i5/GTX 960, and the stuttering meter already disappeared about a dozen updates ago.

Good for you! I don't think the stuttering of the 3 click meter has to do with framerates or the video card. Your computer specs is a perfect example of that.

Latest Nvidia drivers and Win 10.

Scratch that. Still get the occasional stutter right at the wrong moment. 140 fps and a jittering meter.... go figure.

If you use the latest NVIDIA graphics driver, it may cause some problems.
If so, you should use the old version driver.

I've been using the Assembly-CSharp.dll patch for almost a month now and it gives a significant FPS boost for me on most courses - roughly equivalent to turning shadows from default to off. So for the same FPS, I get a much more pleasing look to the course while retaining near 60fps, which is a big help for RTS-M.
For those who are unsure, it's simple to try and easy to revert to the original by keeping a backup file or simply revalidating the local files in Steam. Hope I don't have issues with the Nvidia driver, though, as I don't want to mess with reinstalling old versions of that.
Many thanks for providing this welcome FPS boost. Very much appreciated.
