here is a link to some fine courses in the midwest if any

of you designers are looking for something to do.

not sure of the name of the course but a couple of years back a course was

built somewhere in Nebraska that was made up of famous holes from the great courses.

that would be a nice one to see. will see if i can find the name.

Sand Hills would be a great addition to the course library. The whole Sand Hills region would be great fodder for anyone looking for great golf terrain in which to build a fictional course too. I'm not sure about the LIDAR coverage in Nebraska though.

Yeah, LIDAR coverage sucks there.

I'm trying to do a course from every place I've lived; Nebraska is the only one I have left. Sand Hills would be the ideal choice but as mentioned, data is hard to find.

I do have a fictional course I just finished called "Flatwater" which is theoretically located there, but my goal is to do a real one.

Since I'm a one time Lincolnite, I've also thought about Firethorn which is a private club done by Pete Dye that's hosted some lower tier NCAA and USGA events.

yes a Nebraska course would be nice to see a flatland course every once in a while. seems that 90% of courses made have hills and much elevation everywhere . like to see more flat open courses designed some

Flatwater is a course I have been enjoying very much, I would like more courses like that one.

I live in Norfolk Nebraska  and never played a game of golf in my life. I'm a Disc Golfer and this state isn't as flat as you think it is. our rolling hills would be a challenge for some very good golf courses.

Nebraska has perhaps the best land for world class golf courses in the world. Just not enough people.
