In my old notes I think pressing the <spacebar> removed the golfer so one could line up the putt - by I think that has changed is it still possible Thanks

when on green looking at those curved putts scroll to the driver
and you should be able to line your putt up from that position
then switch back to putter.

Best you can do is select driver temporarily to give a bit more view of the line.
(oops, slow off the mark again...)

The big negative about the Space Bar is on a few occasions (unless you play using RTS) I'm so focused on the swing forget to switch back - not good

Why not use the "C" key to scroll through the different camera angles?

Yeah I did the c key but that usually takes care of it but using driver may help - I took a screen shot of the shortcut keys years ago and is read SP next to remove golfer. But thanks for all the help

Did it again today (used a driver on the green instead of putting). I guess I could go low (C key or if you're a musician 'the key of C') but I'm so used to lining putts up behind ani looking down on the ball, using my BLI , that it would be like starting over. I did actually use a Driver on the green irl but that's another story. Sure miss being out on the course - nothing like it - next to heaven almost.

I use the arrow keys to change the aim point, thus "exposing" the cup and the green between the animation and the cup. Of course, you need to re-aim once you've decided on your line.

If I remember correctly in the good ol' days you could disappear the dude anywhere on the course - not just on the green - which made for a much more immersive experience. I would give my right arm to have that back. In fact I would give my whole body. (ahahaHAHA)
Not only do they not add new stuff, they even take stuff away.
Some of you more perceptive people will say, "But hey Ted..how do you use RTS without a dude?"
Well, perceptive ones, I'm way ahead of you. A few days ago I went out and disappeared myself (some of you more callous ones will say, "About time..") by using F5 and moving the cam so I couldn't see the dude. Took the shot using RTS-M without any real trouble and it was wonderful. I took a swing by muscle memory. There was no follow cam so it was close enough to reality to make it very enjoyable seeing the ball flight like you would in real life (apart from the absolute pain in the non-existent arse of farting around with F5).
Oh, how I would love to be playing against others playing the same way. A real test of computer golfing prowess. Ironically I can't see anyone else doing it. (Get it? ahahhahHAHA)

I have done this too its sort of hilarious as far as the shock of what happens to the ball but then not really ... What I think also can work depending is just aiming way left or right and then enough things get out of the way to line it up - I forgot about the driver option it is the best one I think
