Menu Bar Differences

Best Answer DPRoberts , 20 August 2018 - 06:32 PM

First, verify that you have Unity 5.2.3f and have followed the tutorials on installing Course Forge in this thread.

Course Forge needs to be imported as a package into Unity to work correctly. If you have Unity 5.2.3f and have correctly imported the Course Forge package, the menu bar will appear. Go to the full post

Hi Everyone,

New man on the block. JNSE and JN6 design experience.

Just started the tutorials on the set up and basics of Course Forge.

The instructor was talking about saving your terrains. He went to 'Perfect Parallel 'in the menu bar and clicked on 'Save Terrain'. The copy of unity I have installed does not have 'Perfect Parallel' in the menubar.

I appreciate all of your help. :D This looks like fun once I get the basics.

Thanks

DavidG

I do not, I have [ 2018.2.4f (64bit) ]. I will uninstall this one and find the 5.2.3f one.  I got it from the link in the tutorial you gave me. I had that one bookmarked !!  I will visit there often. Thanks for your help.

OK. Went back to the website and looked a little better than I did the first time and I found 5.2.3f. Uninstalled other version installed correct version, loaded CF and now I'm hunky-dory for the moment.

Thanks for your help. I'll probably be back   ;)
