Terrain Overlay resolution

Best Answer Dropzone73 , 19 December 2018 - 08:52 PM

Unity imports those images in 2048 resolution as default. Click that image active and change it at the right edge of the screen to 8192 resolution and true colour. Then you'll get what you want.

I am having difficulty getting my terrain overlay in the game to match the resolution of the image I imported as my terrain overlay. I have a screenshot to show the comparison but the forum will not let me attach or upload the image (it's only 223kb but apparently even that is too large). The actual image is far more crisp, clear and a few shades lighter than the overlay in the game. I have tried changing it in the terrain base resolution settings but it won't change. Ideas?

I use imgur to post images, It's free. Just upload your image to their website, Then in the top right-hand corner (of your image) click the down arrow then choose get shared link, Copy the BBC forum code and paste it in here.

Thanks, that seems to have done it. Still a little dark but that is easily adjustable.
