Thanks to all who work on PG for the awesome game! This will no doubt be the best golf sim ever. I like not having a pitch shot option but having to control the swing to hit one. If I see one area of improvement it is in the ball physics hitting in bunkers. I hit a shot on 18th at South Hampton from the fairway that hit in the right greenside bunker and kicked on the green. I hate to mention any negative because I like the game so much. Keep up the good work and Thanks!!!
Awsome Game

Agreed with all you say... the bunkers are quite varied.. I've seen a ball land fully in it and bounce out further up the fairway. It finished as the longest drive, including over mine that landed on the fairway and did a normal bounce and roll. Not sure that is realistic, but I guess it could have hit a side bunker wall which isn't as heavily sanded. The limitations of what you see are perhaps at fault, regarding how the reactionary results affect things.

Ha smokey, nothing wrong with pointing out negative things when done like you just did. That is the point of EA. It is when people post "this game sucks" and then don't say what exactly sucks that causes a problem.

You can change the firmness settings of the course in the game options We have done a fix to the bunkers to make them more 'sticky' so the ball bounces out of them much less. It can still happen but only in extreme circumstances.

Bunker play does seem a little more realistic, maybe look into chip mode from sand, I have to wonder if it plays the way you intended. I seem to be able to chip farther from sand than from fringe or fairway with same club.

Thx for the input. Chipping from the sand is an early access issue just like putting from the rough around the green - we will be fixing things like this as we go but we figured it was time to let people play the game rather than holding on to it any longer.
Most people seem to think this was the right decision and are having some fun plus they can give us some feedback about what things are important to them so we can make informed decisions about what people want to see in the game.

Smokey, that definitely is not negative. Those are the types of things the developers want to know about during EA. Post away.
