Hi RobC,

I've played there once and have some pictures of the first 11 holes if you need reference.  The finishing holes are pretty nutty and I didn't remember to photograph!

Some simply stunning mesh work there Rob.

I don't won't to think about the hours you put into that sand transition.

Where did the hole lengths come from?  There are a few holes that differ here (https://www.pebblebe...at-spanish-bay/), yielding a course 100 yards longer.

I think a lot of it is Pin positions and maybe shot point positions changes in game yardages

I have noticed though on the course map on 3 it shows a new Tee box way back in the scrub that doesn't show up on any overhead in Google or Bing...That could account for 50 yds straight away cause in game its showing 349 and on the website its 407

hole 3 seems like the only yardage out of place.  At the link, Blue tees match PG Champ tees, except for 3; Gold tees match PG Tourn. tees for all holes.

https://course.bluegolf.com/bluegolf/course/course/spanishbaylinksat/detailedscorecard.htm

The Champ. tee-to-shot point 1 seems short by 65 yds, as though the tee in the scrub is a new Blue (Champ) tee.  Shot point 1-to-green is correct at ~145 yds.

You can also use Pro Visualizer to get the tee-to-shot points-to-green distances.

So I thought I'd give this 3d grass a look...

1Dg9uo7.jpg

And I think not bad for a 1st go.... needs a bit of tweaking but it looks good...

I haven't noticed any FPS issues maybe even a bit of improvement

Please please do a non-3DG final release also.

I love this course - truly - but it struggles in places for me and 3DG I fear will just make it "not great" shall we say.

Love to try the 3DG beta version to see though..
