Can I delete Scenes and Terrain backups through Unity

Best Answer NoPutt , 13 June 2020 - 09:19 AM

There is really no need to SAVE SCENE AS except when first naming it.

After that, when you close Unity click, Save Project then SAVE SCENE and close.

Yes you can delete individual terrain backups, just make sure you're deleting

what you no longer need.

Long Story short I have about 50 different scene saves each with a different filename save then I have about 50 different terrain backup saves each with a different filename but they are the same filename as each scene save such as terrain save called h1 and a scene save called h1 but I have 50 each of these some called h2 some h3a etc. so can I click on FILE > then Save Scene As then click on (highlight) a scene save I am tired of having and then press the delete keyboard button to get rid of it for good ... and do the same with a terrain backup I am sick of having by clicking on backup terrain via the "Perfect Parallel" TAB and then choosing backup terrain then just highlighting or clicking on the terrain back up I no longer want and once its highlighted click the delete button or will I loose something vital. ????????????????????????      I plan on keeping the last 5 of my most current terrain and scene backups.

Little known fact when King Arthur was trying to make a golf course and he ran into some conflict. King Arthur: There's a peace only to be found on the other side of war. If that war should come I will fight it!    Other important fact. Read the Book of John in the Holy Bible.
