in a post of coursw forge i find this:

" The thing with CF is it can be as simple or as complicated as you choose. With some skill you can create a nice course in a few hours or you can go the extra mile and create something truly unique. Our focus right now is not CF as we know it works, we know it's good it's been used by ourselves to make over 50 courses and the beta testers have also created something special with it too."

so, why only five course? Come on give us more course plz!

On another forum, I read that there was going to be an exciting announcement soon about courses. Hopefully that means more are on the way and that they can use the real courses that are provided for tv coverage.

I've heard many courses are more taxing on the system and could be a reason they only wanted a few that were less taxing on systems for early access, plus they might have not had true copyright rights to include the courses.

The 5 courses were provided in early access so the devs can get the game into the hands of the players. The players would help point out issues, bugs, etc. so the dev team can take those items and work on them. Too many courses would be a little overkill, but know that once the full game is released along with course forge, you will have a nice pile of courses being released day after day.

Many of the courses we have created are for Broadcast or visualization purposes and the ones that make it into PerfectGolf have to be optimised for gameplay.

We're updating courses as we go and there will be a new one next week based on a PGA tour venue.

When CourseForge goes public you won't have to worry about a lack of courses!

I saw the same thing Bionic Wolf, at the time it was called Akron North, which sounds like it could be Firestone,

but I'm just guessing.

IDS,

That range was in the closed ALPHA but was removed as other courses were then added.

I believe MJ has hinted that we may see it return at some point.

;)

I signed up to be a volunteer since I am only 40 minutes away in coon rapids so we'll see. Been there a few times to watch practice rounds of events and even designed it for another game.

You betcha, this is one of the ranges that will be released as soon as we have the logics programmed to actually move around it and play from different places to different targets. We also want to make practice a multiplayer experience with challenges and mini games built in.

Lots to look forward to not just for the final release but all the updates afterwards too!
