Simple question... are you still playing Perfect Golf?    I am  and probably more than ever.   After years of trying to convince my brother and a friend, who I have been playing Links for years, decided to move to PG.    Over the last year or more, we have been having a blast.   Designing courses are fun as well, however, I am not sure how much more longer I will be doing that.

If you are somewhat or not playing PG, have you moved on to another golf game or just another game in general?   At my age, I have no desire to learn modern games, so I will stick with PG for as long as it lasts.

Not anymore.

My uncle, who'd I'd been playing PC Golf with since the early 1990s, finally timed out.

Dementia sucks.

He lost the ability to remember what to do ... shot to shot ... so it was just impossible to play really.

It was a great run, but I haven't really had any desire to fire up PG (or any other golf game for that matter) since we quit a couple months ago.

:(

Once or twice a week, or if a new course is released.

Sorry to hear it.

I still play when I get the hankering for a certain course.  Haven't been into CF lately, but I want to try a few things.

A bit like Buck, I play every Tues and Thurs with my brother and have been since UK covid lockdown started in 2020.  Still going but there are times when I would love for a better option.  PGA 2K25 looks decent but I fear that will be just another iteration of the same game and how I would love for the Trackman Virtual Golf software to transform into something on PC to play.  Really appreciate the course updates though Rob so thanks for those.

I noticed on PGLS that most of your courses are still listed as 'beta'.   Any plans on bringing them to "final"?   In your opinion, do they still need to be finished?    I've played a few and they played fine for me, found no issues and played rather nicely.

You are welcome.   Designing courses is fun and it is great when they come to life, but not sure how many I have left in me.   I have a few that are pretty much completed and have been sitting on my hard drive for quite some time.  I just never liked the way they turned out, so I did not release them.   I definitely have learned a lot with each course build so maybe I apply the newly learned techniques, assets, etc. to these courses to make them better.   It certainly would be less tedious than starting a new course from scratch.

There are rainy day plans to get them to a point where I'm happy.  Some are all but done, others like Brookwater need forests of gum trees...the GS Pro guys are probably doing it in 5 mins with AI.

I'm all but done with PC gaming too.  Various factors.

Still play most days but have cut back to 9 hole rounds most of the time. Still enjoy the game as much as ever, probably because I RTS and every shot is a new experience.   While there are other good golf games out there PG is still the best game of golf.

I still play a couple of times a week.  Like others have said, it's still the best golf game out there even after all this time.  TGC simply can not touch the shot values and ball physics of PG..don't care how many updates they put out.  Still highly frustrates me that the game was abandoned, but it still holds some entertainment value for me.

Enjoy dabbling w/CF when time permits.  Burn out can be a real thing w/it, but I've learned to just take breaks here and there.  Have a course in the early stages I'm hoping to get to the finish line at some point later.

I still play the occasional round with Phil Mucklebot. So much of PG feels just right.
On a different topic -wouldn't Wissahickon make a perfect course?

If you think they are fine, then let Mark know. He can take the beta off the course name.

I still play every day and will until I can't anymore, physically.
